Open to all seniors in the community, the center offers social, recreational, and educational programs and services designed to help seniors enjoy fulfilling lives. The Thomas Laughlin Senior Center, affectionately known as the “Pink House,” has introduced seniors to programming offered through their partnership with Peoples Health. At the Pink House, you can find Music Therapy and Tai Chi classes that are tailored to the needs of seniors.

Metairie Senior Center

Peoples Health and Jefferson Council on Aging have partnered to provide programming initiatives within the Metairie Senior Center. Some of those programs include Music Therapy and Computer classes.

Central City Senior Center

Peoples Heath has partnered with the NOCOA to provide programming opportunities for seniors of the Central City Senior Center.

The New Orleans Council on Aging (NOCOA) exists to protect the rights, promote the well-being and enhance the self-esteem of New Orleans elderly by generating opportunities for self-reliance and independence. The New Orleans Council on Aging is a private, non-profit corporation which serves as the Area Agency on Aging for Orleans Parish. The agency is responsible for insuring that a comprehensive and coordinated assortment of social recreational education and nutritional services are provide to persons aged 60 and over tin the City of New Orleans.
